Courtesy Lights Inoperative - Door Lights
NOTE:
After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST
under VERIFICATION TESTS.
Possible Causes:
- Open Fused B+ Circuit
- Courtesy Light Driver Circuit Open
- Junction Block
Testing
- Remove driver door courtesy light lens. Disconnect driver door courtesy light connector. Measure voltage on driver door light courtesy light 2-pin connector terminal No. 2, fused B+ circuit (Pink wire). If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair open in Pink wire.
- Reconnect driver door courtesy light connector. Disconnect junction block connector C6. See Figure and Figure . Connect a fused jumper wire between ground and junction block connector C6 terminal No. 8, courtesy lights driver circuit (Yellow wire). If door courtesy lights illuminate, replace junction block. See JUNCTION BLOCK under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If door courtesy lights do not illuminate, repair open in Yellow wire.
