Compass Test Failure
NOTE:
After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST
under VERIFICATION TESTS.
Possible Causes:
- Electronic Vehicle Information Center
Testing
- Perform the EVIC self test. See EVIC SELF-TEST . Turn ignition off. Depress and hold the RESET and C/T buttons while turning the ignition on. If the EVIC or scan tool displays FAILED SELF TEST, Replace the EVIC. See OVERHEAD CONSOLES - CONCORDE, INTREPID & 300M article. If the EVIC or scan tool does not display FAILED SELF TEST, testing is complete.
