High Beam Headlights Will Not Turn Off

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  1. Remove circuit breaker 2 from the fuse block. If the high beam headlamps turn off, go to the next step. If the high beam headlamps do not turn off, repair the dimmer switch high beam output circuit for a short to voltage condition.
  2. Disconnect the instrument cluster connector. Disconnect the multifunction switch connector. Measure resistance of the dimmer switch high beam output circuit to ground. If the resistance is less than 5.0 ohms, replace the instrument cluster. If the resistance is more than 5.0 ohms, replace the multifunction switch.
