EATX Mismatch

  1. With the DRBIII, read DTCs. If the DRBIII displays EATX BUS MESSAGE NOT RECEIVED refer to the appropriate test in communications. See SYMPTOM INDEX  table in SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If the DRBIII does not display EATX BUS MESSAGE NOT RECEIVED, go to the next step.
    2. NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  2. With the DRBIII in Cluster Type, ensure that the instrument cluster is correctly configured. If the instrument cluster is configured correctly replace the instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS article. If the instrument cluster is not configured correctly, use the DRBIII to configure the instrument cluster.
