VTSS Previously Enabled

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
NOTE: DTC is set when a used Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module that was programmed for a Vehicle Theft Security System (VTSS) equipped vehicle is installed in a non-VTSS equipped vehicle and programming is attempted.

Program (configure) Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY MODULE  under PROGRAMMING. If scan tool displays VTSS PREVIOUSLY ENABLED, non-VTSS RKE module is installed. Install correct RKE module. If scan tool does not display VTSS PREVIOUSLY ENABLED, no problem is found at this time. Test is complete.
