Data Link Connector

Data Link Connector (DLC) provides an input signal to Powertrain Control Module (PCM) via the Serial Communications Interface (SCI) transmit circuit when using scan tool to retrieve Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) from PCM via the SCI receive circuit. DLC input signal is also used by PCM when performing various tests on electronic control system. DLC communicates with other modules via the Programmable Communication Interface (PCI) bus circuit.
