(1) Different interval may be required for normal and severe service. Severe service is described as continuous operation during freezing temperatures, continuous operation in stop and go traffic, long periods of engine idling, frequent short trip operation of less than 5 miles, trailer towing, police, taxi, local delivery service or operating in dusty or excessively hot conditions.
(2) Inspect air filter every 6 months or 7500 miles and replace as necessary. Replace at 24 months of 30,000 miles unless previously replaced during inspection.
(3) Monthly interval does not apply.
(4) Inspect air filter every 3000 miles and replace as necessary. Replace at 15,000 miles unless previously replaced during inspection.
(5) Service interval is not available from manufacturer.
(6) On vehicles equipped with Federal emissions package, replace at 100,000 miles. On vehicles equipped with California emissions package, replace at 105,000 miles. Refer to underhood vehicle emission control label for application.
(7) Inspect at scheduled interval and replace as necessary.
(8) Inspect every 30,000 miles after first scheduled interval if not previously replaced at scheduled interval listed.
