VF Display Inoperative

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.

Ensure that the instrument cluster communicates on the PCI bus. The instrument cluster must be operational for the result of this test to be valid. The instrument cluster odometer/PRND Vacuum Fluorescent (VF) display is not a repairable or replaceable item. If there are no possible causes remaining, replace the instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in appropriate ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS article.
