Description - Charging System

The charging system consists of:

• Generator.
• Decoupler Pulley (If equipped).
• Electronic Voltage Regulator (EVR) circuitry within the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
• Ignition switch.
• Battery (refer to BATTERY SYSTEM for information).
• Inlet Air Temperature (calculated battery temperature).
• Voltmeter (refer to ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS for information if equipped).
• Wiring harness and connections (refer to SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS for information).
• Accessory drive belt (refer to SPECIFICATIONS & DRIVE BELT ROUTING for more information).
