Starting System: Starting: Description

For the starting system schematic, see Fig 1. The starting system has the following components:

• Ignition switch
• Starter relay
• Transmission Range Sensor or Park/Neutral Switch
• Wiring harness
• Battery
• Starter motor with an integral solenoid
• Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
