Circuit Breaker
For circuit description and diagrams, refer to the appropriate wiring information. The wiring information includes wiring diagrams, proper wire and connector repair procedures, details of wire harness routing and retention, connector pin-out information and location views for the various wire harness connectors, splices and grounds.
- Locate the window circuit breaker in the Micro Relay Bank. Remove the circuit breaker and check for continuity from Cavity 1 to ground. If continuity, repair circuit to window switch as necessary.
- Pull the circuit breaker out slightly, but be sure that the terminals still contact the terminals in the Micro Relay Bank.
- Connect the negative lead of a voltmeter to a good ground.
- With the positive lead of the voltmeter, test each terminals of the circuit breaker for battery voltage.
- If only one terminal has battery voltage, the circuit breaker is faulty and must be replaced. If neither terminal has battery voltage, repair the open circuit between the Micro Relay Bank and the Power Distribution Center (PDC) as necessary.
