Throttle Body: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative cable from battery
  2. Disconnect air intake duct from throttle body.
  3. Remove throttle cable bracket.
  4. Disconnect electrical connectors.
  5. Disconnect top vacuum hose.
  6. Remove 3 throttle body bolts.
  7. Hold throttle lever in wide open position. Remove throttle cable and speed control cables from throttle arm.
  8. Clean mating surfaces.
