Radio Mem Msg Not Received

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  1. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, attempt to communicate with radio. If scan tool communicates with radio, go to next step. If scan tool does not communicate with radio, go to NO RESPONSE FROM RADIO .
  2. Operate memory seat system. If memory seat operates properly, go to next step. If memory seat does not operate properly, go to MEMORY SYSTEMS article.
  3. Using scan tool, erase DTCs. Turn ignition off and on. Wait a minimum of one minute. Using scan tool, check for DTCs. If DTC resets, replace Body Control Module (BCM). See BODY CONTROL MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If DTC does not reset, testing is complete.
