PCI Bus Shorted High

Using scan tool, ensure communications exist with Powertrain Control Module (PCM), ATC module and other modules. If communications do not exist, repair fault with module communications network. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM . Check ATC module for active DTC/fault messages. If scan tool displays PCI BUS SHORTED HIGH or PCI BUS SHORTED LOW DTC/fault message(s) as active for ATC module, replace ATC module for displaying a false DTC/fault message. Calibrate ATC module and actuators. See HVAC CONTROL CALIBRATION  under PROGRAMMING.
