Pass Blend Door Not Responding

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect passenger blend door actuator harness connector. Disconnect ATC module C1 connector. Check for short to ground in passenger blend door driver "A" circuit. Using DVOM, measure resistance between ground and ATC module C1 connector terminal No. 4 (Light Blue/Brown wire). See Figure. If reading is less than 100 k/ohms, repair short to ground in Light Blue/Brown wire. Calibrate ATC module and actuators. See HVAC CONTROL CALIBRATION  under PROGRAMMING. If reading is 100 k/ohms or more, go to next step.
  2. Check for short to ground in passenger blend door driver "B" circuit. Using DVOM, measure resistance between ground and ATC module C1 connector terminal No. 3 (Dark Blue/White wire). See Figure. If reading is less than 100 k/ohms, repair short to ground in Dark Blue/White wire. Calibrate ATC module and actuators. See HVAC CONTROL CALIBRATION  under PROGRAMMING. If reading is 100 k/ohms or more, go to next step.
  3. Check for short between passenger blend door driver "A" and "B" circuits. Using DVOM, measure resistance between ATC module C1 connector terminals No. 3 (Dark Blue/White wire) and No. 4 (Light Blue/Brown wire). See Figure. If reading is less than 100 k/ohms, repair short between Dark Blue/White wire and Light Blue/Brown wire. Calibrate ATC module and actuators. See HVAC CONTROL CALIBRATION  under PROGRAMMING. If reading is 100 k/ohms or more, go to next step.
  4. Measure resistance in Light Blue/Brown wire between passenger blend door actuator harness connector and ATC module C1 connector terminal No. 4. See Figure. If reading is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If readings is 5 ohms or more, repair open in Light Blue/Brown wire. Calibrate ATC module and actuators. See HVAC CONTROL CALIBRATION  under PROGRAMMING.
  5. Measure resistance in Dark Blue/White wire between passenger blend door actuator harness connector and ATC module C1 connector terminal No. 3. See Figure. If reading is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If readings is 5 ohms or more, repair open in Dark Blue/White wire. Calibrate ATC module and actuators. See HVAC CONTROL CALIBRATION  under PROGRAMMING.
  6. Connect passenger blend door actuator harness connector. Using DVOM, measure resistance between ATC module C1 connector terminals No. 3 (Dark Blue/White wire) and No. 4 (Light Blue/Brown wire). See Figure. If reading is 26-46 ohms, replace faulty ATC module. Calibrate ATC module and actuators. See HVAC CONTROL CALIBRATION  under PROGRAMMING. If reading is not 26-46 ohms, go to next step.
  7. Replace faulty passenger blend door actuator. Calibrate ATC module and actuators. See HVAC CONTROL CALIBRATION  under PROGRAMMING.
