FCM, Radio Communication Fault

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  1. Using scan tool, attempt to communicate with radio. If scan tool communicates with radio, go to next step. If scan tool does not communicate with radio, go to NO RESPONSE FROM RADIO .
  2. Using scan tool, erase DTCs. Turn ignition off and on. Wait a minimum of one minute. Using scan tool, check for DTCs. If DTC resets, replace Front Control Module (FCM). See FRONT CONTROL MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If DTC does not reset, testing is complete.
