MSM Messages Not Received

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  1. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, attempt to communicate with Memory Seat/Mirror Module (MSMM). If scan tool communicates with MSMM, go to next step. If scan tool does not communicate with MSMM, go to BUS +/- SIGNALS OPEN FROM MEMORY SEAT/MIRROR MODULE .
  2. Using scan tool, erase DTCs. Turn ignition off and on. Wait a minimum of one minute. Using scan tool, check for DTCs. If DTC resets, replace Body Control Module (BCM). See BODY CONTROL MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If DTC does not reset, testing is complete.
