Fuel Gauge Checksum Failure

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST under VERIFICATION TESTS.

Turn the ignition on. With the DRBIII®, record and erase DTC's. Turn the ignition off, wait 15 seconds, then turn the ignition on. With the DRBIII®, read DTC's. If the checksum DTC reset, replace instrument cluster. See ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS article. If the checksum DTC did not reset, the test is complete.
