Accessory Power Output No. 2 Open

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  1. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, erase Front Control Module (FCM) DTCs. Turn ignition off. Wait 10 seconds. Turn ignition on. Recheck for DTCs. If both ACCESSORY POWER OUTPUT OPEN DTCs are set, go to next step. If both ACCESSORY POWER OUTPUT OPEN DTCs are not set, go to step  3.
  2. Turn ignition off. Remove accessory relay from Intelligent Power Module (IPM) located in left front corner of engine compartment. See Figure. Replace accessory relay with a known-good relay. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, erase FCM DTCs. Turn ignition off. Wait 10 seconds. Turn ignition on. Recheck for DTCs. If both ACCESSORY POWER OUTPUT OPEN DTCs are set, replace IPM. If both ACCESSORY POWER OUTPUT OPEN DTCs are not set, replace accessory relay.
  3. If ACCESSORY POWER OUTPUT NO. 1 OPEN DTC is not set, go to next step. If ACCESSORY POWER OUTPUT NO. 1 OPEN DTC is set, replace FCM. See FRONT CONTROL MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  4. If ACCESSORY POWER OUTPUT NO. 2 OPEN DTC is not set, condition to set DTC is not present at this time. If ACCESSORY POWER OUTPUT NO. 2 OPEN DTC is set, replace FCM. See FRONT CONTROL MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
