Tire Pressure Verification Test

  1. Perform the EVIC training as instructed in the system description.
  2. Using the DRBIII® or RESET and STEP buttons, set the EVIC to Diagnostics mode.
  3. The RESET and STEP buttons must be applied and held simultaneously.
  4. Set the EVIC to display BUCKET COUNTERS.
  5. Drive the vehicle at 20 mph (32 km/h) for at least 2 minutes.
  6. Observe that the counters increment at least 3 sensor/transmitter receptions for each wheel. If the EVIC can be trained and if the counters show Sensor/Transmitter receptions, the repair is complete. If the EVIC can not be trained and if the counters do not show Sensor/Transmitter receptions, refer to Diagnosing System Faults in the Description and Operation for this system.
