Idle Speed & Mixture

NOTE: On gasoline engines, idle speed and mixture are controlled by Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Diesel engines are controlled by 2 different modules. Fuel and emissions are controlled by an Engine Control Module (ECM) located on left side of cylinder block. A/C, charging system, cruise control and transmission are controlled by a Powertrain Control Module (PCM) located in right rear of engine compartment. No adjustment is necessary on gasoline or diesel engines.
