Crankshaft Position Sensor

On 2.4L, Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor is located on cylinder block, near oil filter. On 3.3L and 3.8L, CKP sensor is located on top of transaxle housing, above flywheel. On all models, individual component testing is not available from manufacturer. If CKP sensor or wiring circuit failure exists, a DTC may be stored in powertrain control module. See DTC P0320: NO CRANK REFERENCE SIGNAL AT PCM under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - CARAVAN, TOWN & COUNTRY, & VOYAGER article.
