Monitored & Set Conditions
Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor voltage is monitored when engine off time is greater than 480 minutes and ambient temperature is greater than 39°F (4°C). After a calibrated amount of cool down time, the PCM compares the ECT sensor, Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor and the Ambient Air Temperature (AAT) sensor values. DTC will set if the ECT sensor value is not within a calibrated amount of the other 2 temperature sensors an error is detected. DTC is a two trip fault.
