Battery HOLDDOWN: Installation

  1. Install the battery hold down in the vehicle.
  2. On gasoline engine equipped vehicles, install the battery and hold down retaining bolt(s).
  3. On gasoline engine equipped vehicles, install the air cleaner housing (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - INSTALLATION ).
  4. On diesel engine equipped vehicles, install the passenger front seat.
  5. On diesel engine equipped vehicles, install the battery. Refer to BATTERY  .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
