Accelerator Pedal: Installation

  1. Connect the accelerator pedal harness connector.
  2. Slide the accelerator pedal into the bracket and onto the welded stud.
  3. Install the accelerator pedal lower nut (1). Tighten to 15 N.m (11 ft. lbs.).

  4. Install the plastic nut cover.
  5. Install the accelerator pedal upper nut (1). Tighten to 15 N.m (11 ft. lbs.).

  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
