Throttle Body: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the air cleaner housing. See 3.2L V6 article.
  3. Remove the Mass Air Flow sensor with the intake tube. See MANIFOLD AIR FLOW (MAF) SENSOR .
  4. Remove the crankcase vent tube (1) from the intake.
  5. Disconnect the throttle body harness connector (3).
  6. Remove the four bolts (4) attaching the throttle body (5) to the intake.
  7. Remove the O-ring (2) from the throttle body (5) and discard.
