Spark Plug: Installation

  1. Using a gap gauge (1), gap the spark plugs to 1.00 mm (.039 in.) before installing them.

  2. Tighten the spark plugs to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).
    3. NOTE: A snap should be felt when a good connection is made between the cable and the spark plug.
  3. Install the spark plug cables.
