Monitored & Set Conditions

Temperature sensor is monitored with engine off time is greater than 480 minutes. Ambient temperature is greater than -10°F (-23°C). DTC will set after a calibrated amount of cool down time, the PCM compares the ECT sensor, IAT sensor and the ambient air temperature sensor values. If the Ambient Air Temperature (AAT), Intake Air Temperature (IAT), and Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensors are all less than a calibrated value, then the DTC will set.
