Installation - 1.6L

  1. Install the knock sensor. See Figure. Tighten knock sensor bolt to 22 N.m (195 in. Ibs.) torque. Over or under tightening effects knock sensor performance resulting in possible improper spark control. 
  2. Connect the electrical connector for the sensor. See Figure.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
  4. Install air cleaner assembly cover.
