Installation - 2.4L Turbo

Special care should be used when installing spark plugs in the 2.4L cylinder head spark plug wells. Be sure the plugs do not drop into the wells, damage to the electrodes can occur.

NOTE: INSTALL cables to the spark plug first before installing them to the ignition coil.

Install the spark plug using a quality socket with a rubber or foam insert. Tighten plus to N.m 17.6 +/-2 (13 +/-2 ft. lbs.). DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN, it is imperative that the torque is NOT EXCEEDED.
Install the throttle control shield.
Connect and lock the MAP sensor electrical connector.
Connect the negative battery cable.
