Crankshaft Position Sensor: Installation

  1. Install the crankshaft position sensor (1) to the engine. Tighten to 8 N.m (71 in. lbs.).
  2. Connect the crankshaft position sensor harness connector.
  3. Install the air cleaner housing. (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - INSTALLATION) or (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - INSTALLATION) .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
