Installation - 1.6L

  1. Install the knock sensor Tighten knock sensor bolt to 22 N.m (195 in. lbs.) torque. See Figure.Over or under tightening effects knock sensor performance resulting in possible improper spark control.  .
  2. Connect the electrical connector for the sensor. See Figure.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
  4. Install air cleaner assembly cover.
