Occupant Restraint Controller: Removal

  1. Open hood.
  2. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  3. Wait two minutes for the system reserve capacitor to discharge before servicing any airbag components.
  4. Remove the center console.
  5. Remove ORC module mounting nuts and ground eyelet, then remove module. See Fig 1.

  6. Disconnect ORC 23-way connector.
  7. Remove ORC from vehicle.
