Fuel Injector: Removal: 3.5L
- Release fuel pressure, refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE - FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE PROCEDURE

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the upper intake manifold.
(Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD
).
- If the injector connectors are not tagged with their cylinder number, tag them to identify the correct cylinder.
- Disconnect the fuel supply line from the fuel rail. See Fig 1.

- Remove the 4 mounting bolts from the fuel rail. See Fig 2.

- Lift fuel rail straight up off of cylinder head.
- Remove retaining clips from fuel injectors at fuel rail.
- Remove fuel injector from fuel rail.
