Throttle Body: Removal: 3.5L

Disconnect negative cable from battery
Remove the engine cover.
Remove the air cleaner box, (Refer to HOUSING-AIR CLEANER ).
Hold throttle lever in wide open position. Remove throttle cable and speed control cables from throttle arm.
Remove throttle cable bracket. See Fig 1.

Disconnect electrical connectors from throttle body. See Fig 2.

2 - Throttle Position Sensor

3 - Idle Air Control Motor

Remove 3 throttle body bolts.
Remove throttle body. See Fig 3.

Clean mating surfaces.
