Ignition Coil: Removal: 3.8L
- Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector from ignition coil. See Fig 1.
- Grasping the spark plug cable, twist the assembly 1/2 turn and pull the cable from the ignition coil.
- Remove the nuts from the mounting studs.
- Pull coil assembly straight up and off of mounting studs.
