Disconnect the negative and then the positive battery cable.
Remove battery.
Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector from the EGR valve. See Fig 1.

Remove the 2 EGR tube bolts. See Fig 2.

Remove the 2 mounting bolts for the EGR valve and gasket. See Fig 3.
