Ignition System (Service Information): Sensor-Knock: Removal: 2.7L

Disconnect negative battery cable.
The sensors screws into the cylinder block, directly below the intake manifold.
Remove intake manifold, (Refer to ENGINE/MANIFOLDS/INTAKE MANIFOLD - REMOVAL)
Remove the passenger side cylinder head, (Refer to ENGINE/CYLINDER HEAD - REMOVAL) .
Disconnect electrical connector from knock sensor.
Use a crows foot socket to remove the knock sensors.
