Knock Sensor: Removal

  1. Remove the intake manifold from the engine. (Refer to ENGINE/MANIFOLDS/INTAKE MANIFOLD - REMOVAL) - except SRT or (Refer to ENGINE/MANIFOLDS/INTAKE MANIFOLD - REMOVAL) - SRT .
  2. Disconnect the wire harness connectors at the knock sensors (1).
  3. Remove the retaining bolts.
  4. Remove the knock sensors from the engine block.
