Accelerator Pedal: Installation

Place accelerator pedal assembly over mounting studs protruding from floor pan. See Fig 1. Tighten retaining nuts to 12 N.m (105 in. lbs.) torque.

Place cable through slot in top of pedal shaft. See Fig 2.

While holding pedal lever, Push retainer clip forward in vehicle engaging it into the pedal lever. See Fig 3.

Hold the throttle body lever in the wide open position and install the throttle cable. See Fig 4.
Before starting engine, operate accelerator pedal to check for any binding.
