Crankshaft Position Sensor: Description

The 4 cylinder crankshaft sensor is located on the front of the engine below the starter. See Fig 1. The 2.7L crankshaft sensor is located on the rear of the transmission housing, above the differential housing. See Fig 2. The bottom of the sensor is positioned next to the drive plate.
