Ignition Coil: Installation: 2.7L

Align passenger side coil with top of spark plug.
Twist center coil assembly down on to spark plug and valve cover. Install mounting bolt and tighten to 7.5 N.m (65 in. lbs.).
Connect the electrical connector to coil.

Align center coil with top of spark plug.
Twist center coil assembly down on to spark plug and valve cover. Install mounting bolt and tighten to 7.5 N.m (65 in. lbs.).

Connect the electrical connector to coil.
Align coil with top of spark plug.
Twist center coil assembly down on to spark plug and valve cover. Install mounting bolt and tighten to 7.5 N.m (65 in. lbs.).

Twist driver side coil assembly down on to spark plug and valve cover. Install mounting bolt and tighten to 7.5 N.m (65 in. lbs.).
Connect the electrical connector to coil.

Raise engine and transmission.
Tighten the transmission mount, torque fasteners to 61 N.m (45 ft. lbs.).
Remove floor jack from under engine.
Install the air cleaner box. For 2.4L, (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - INSTALLATION) . For 2.7L, (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - INSTALLATION) .
