Air Injection: Pump: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Remove air inlet tube for the air cleaner box.
  3. Disconnect quick connect hose from the top of the air pump.
  4. Raise vehicle and support.
  5. Remove 3 mounting nuts. See Fig 1.

  6. Unlock electrical connector. See Fig 2.

  7. Unclip electrical connector from mounting bracket. See Fig 3.

  8. Press tab and disconnect electrical connector. See Fig 4.

  9. Disconnect quick connect hose from inlet of the air pump.
  10. Remove air pump from vehicle. See Fig 5.
