Negative - Engine Compartment

Position the battery negative cable in the engine compartment.
Raise vehicle on hoist. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Install the fastener securing the battery negative cable to the transmission housing. Torque the bolt to 11 N.m (8 ft. lbs.).
One at a time, install the battery cable retaining push pins, fasteners and routing clips until the cable is installed exactly where it was in the vehicle.
Lower vehicle.

Install the fastener securing the battery negative cable to the right front strut tower.
Connect the battery negative cable.
Install the spare tire cover.
