Injector - Fuel: Removal: 5.7L/6.1L
WARNING:
The fuel system is under constant pressure even with engine off. Before servicing fuel injector(s), fuel system pressure must be released.
To remove one or more fuel injectors, the fuel rail assembly must be removed from engine.
- Release the fuel pressure. Refer to FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE PROCEDURE .
- Remove fuel injector rail. See REMOVAL .
- Remove clip(s) (3) retaining injector(s) (4) to fuel rail.
- Remove injector(s) from fuel rail.
