Clean and check condition of throttle body-to-intake manifold o-ring (2).
Clean mating surfaces of throttle body and intake manifold (1).

CAUTION: Do not use spray (carb) cleaners on any part of the throttle body. Do not apply silicone lubricants to any part of the throttle body.
Install throttle body to intake manifold by positioning throttle body to manifold alignment pins.
Install and tighten four mounting bolts (3).
Install electrical connector (2). To lock connector, slide the red colored tab towards throttle body. Pull firmly on connector to verify a good lock.
Install rubber air hose to throttle body.
A Scan Tool may be used to learn electrical parameters. Go to the Miscellaneous menu, and then select ETC Relearn. If the relearn is not preformed, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will be set. If necessary, use a scan tool to erase any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's) from PCM.
