P0128-Forced Limited Power Excessive High Coolant Temp: Notes

  1. When Monitored  : With the ignition on engine running.
  2. Set Condition  : The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor exceeds 130°C (265°F) at the PCM. One trip Fault
Possible Causes 
ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE (ECT) SENSOR
RADIATOR FAN CONTROL MODULE
RADIATOR FAN
LOW COOLANT LEVEL
THERMOSTAT OPERATION
POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE
