Diagnostic Test

1) WITH THE SCAN TOOL, READ PCM DTCs
Turn the ignition on.

With the scan tool, erase PCM DTCs.

Turn the ignition off.

Turn the ignition on.

Start the engine if it will start.

NOTE: It may be necessary to drive the vehicle.

With the scan tool, read PCM DTCs.

Is DTC (P0606) INTERNAL PCM PROCESSOR present?

Yes
1. Replace and program the Powertrain Control Module. Refer to REMOVAL .
2. Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - VER 2 .
No
1. The condition that caused this DTC to set is currently not present.
2. Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - VER 2 .
