INSTALLATION





NOTE: After installing Evaporative System Integrity Monitor (ESIM) switch, the electrical connector on the switch must be in the 3 O'clock position. This step must be done for proper ESIM switch operation.

1. Install evaporative system integrity monitor (ESIM) switch (1) to vapor canister (3) and rotate 1/4 turn clockwise until the lock tab engages. Make sure electrical connector is in the 3 O'clock position and the seal is properly installed, otherwise a MIL will occur.




2. Install vapor canister filter hose (2) to ESIM switch.
3. Connect electrical connector (3).
