Power Window Control Module: Description and Operation

DESCRIPTION

NOTE: Reprogramming of the express up feature does not need to be performed if the battery is disconnected. If the battery is run down the auto express up feature must be reprogrammed.

The auto (express) window up feature is only enabled in the sedan. The convertible will utilize the same switch panel as the sedan, but the auto up feature will not be enabled. The driver master control switch will have two connectors for the sedan and only one for the convertible. Both the convertible and the sedan will have the auto down feature enabled.

Any time the vehicle battery is disconnected, or goes dead, the auto-up function will be disabled. To reactivate the auto-up feature, pull the window switch up to close the window completely and continue to hold the switch up for an additional two seconds after the window is closed.
